Orphaned in England. Raised by Aunt Betty & Uncle John Stott, brother of Sarah Stott Garner's Parents.
In 1835, came to America on a sailing ship with the Stott’s.
Cousin to Abraham (Abe) Stott.
Mother- her mother’s brother John Stott & wife Eliz (Aunt Bet) raised her- Between- At age of 7 or 8 yrs. Sarah came to U.S. with the Stotts to Phil to Phil- She never attended anything but Sunday School.
I knew Sara Stott was Sadie's (Sarah Agnes "Sadie" Garrett Drais 1889-1983) grandmother and had come over from England, presumably to work here, but no more. Didn't even know her first name.
